Kaushik K. Mehta, Chairman of the Eurostar Group, is more familiar with a diamond in his hand than a shovel, but he was with good company on 14 September 2004.  He stood on a large green field in Gaborone, Botswana, planting a tree with no less than His Excellency President Festus Gontebanye Mogae of Botswana.  It was the foundation stone laying ceremony for Eurostar Botswana, the Eurostar Group's upcoming 4,200 sq metre diamond cutting and polishing factory.
